My name is Ray Bowen. I was introduced to blacksmithing in 1994 by Jacques Brunet, former head of the French blacksmith guild. I immediately felt an affinity for creating with steel. Family members later told me I am the 5th generation of blacksmiths in the family. I apprenticed at Reigneaux et Fréres in St. Gaultier, France. I specialize in the classical French style.
